Poitiers Airport serves the city of Poitiers, as well as other towns in the Vienna department of France, and is officially known as the Poitiers-Biard Airport, or in French, as the Aeroport de Poitiers-Biard. This name is derived from its location, which is particularly nearby the small area of Biard, just outside of Poitiers city. The airport is to the west of Poitiers, and nearby to the A10 Autoroute, that provides access to many areas in the vicinity.
